Tell the banks to jam their 3 days notice where it fits. They have no power, legally or otherwise to tell you to wait for your money. If you want it all, they have to give it to you. Simple as that. But as our Westpac banker said earlier, due to the small amount held each day at branches then large deposit will drain their daily resource. But if you kick up a big enouigh stink you will get your money. And for the poster who asked for his $100k and got told it would be more than 3 days.... if you accepted that then you are a far more patient man than myself.
