Ansett - Air New Zealand - QANTAS and others in various capacities. At QF I worked with J.B. in MEL in 1973/74. I am also a commercial pilot, ret. Have run small airlines throught Australia.

I really like VA. John made a Gold Plate airline out of a Backpackers airline. I was on their inaugural flight.

I hope VA stays and flourishes I really do as I dislike arrogant and smug QF

VA if like a breath of Fresh Air to the travelling public but they are very hard to deal with within their office on deals etc. Needs streamlining and embracing the people that support then within the industry. Thats not happening now.

Now the new boy on the block, Paul has to turn it around and make bucks. They have my full support and I will continue to travel with them and accumulate my Gold status points. Mates look after Mates
