in fact this is a good news for Vba. all the airline are cutting their capacity and routes and delay the delivery of new aircrafts. Vba will start the LA flight when the oil is further down and market get better and maybe turns to a profitable line.that is why they would rather delay the routes instead of leasing any 777. sounds good news to me.
