What would a year or two of slowdown cost them? Nothing? Are you aware of what is happening around the world? US is in a technical recession with pockets of Europe following.

THIS is China's big BIG chance to become a leader and a financial super power. They are not going to wait for the US and Europe to get their houses in order, and then compete on even terms.

THIS is the opportunity China could not have imagined in its wildest dreams, and it is at this point that they will forge ahead build a financial dynasty and leave the West in its wake.

Decoupling? Count on it!

India are not in as progressed a state as China to take advantage, but im sure they will catch up too.
