Ah David OZL p/e ratio of 17 - that would be the FY08 P/e ratio. Next year fy09 the p/e ratio is forecasted to be 6.2.
Remember the interest received on the 1.2 billion at a figure of 7% p.a. gives 84,000,000 that's 84 million dollars per annum. Now they still have that money some 3 or 4 months after the merger so whats that around 25 million in interest so far?? Nice..... If they dont spend it for 1 year then 3,233,000,000 shares on issue / 84,000,000 = 38c per share.
Then there is their actual business activities to factor in, Prominent Hill coming on line either late this year or early 09 plus EVERYTHING else........ You trying to tell us OZL will drop to 80c per share??
