Stigmata - "THIS is the opportunity China could not have imagined in its wildest dreams, and it is at this point that they will forge ahead build a financial dynasty and leave the West in its wake."

Could not have imagined? Haha they have helped put American into this mess, decisively so. They were the one lending them more and more money to consume.

Major - Sure I agree, this is hurting. I've averaged 1.15 and its hard to look at it. I have faith in GBG as a company though and am confident about their future.

Demand for Chinese products will just move on to another country. The rising middle-classes of other nations (mainly Asian) will start to buy all the products that China exports.
I'm sure Apple don't care too much about sales because the Asian market wants millions of iPods.

China will focus a lot on their internal development,(infrastructure) now that a lot of their capital won't be invested in the U.S. I also think they will invest a lot in emerging nations (African nations).

GBG's share price - Sure, we may not see 1.30 til February at this rate! And maybe rightly so. It might take a long time for investors to get over the fear in the current market and realise that not all stocks need the U.S market to be stable so that they can earn money.

America has glandular fever at the moment, we've all just got a cold and it'll be all over soon LOL How stupid...
