nope captaincarps I don't know anything anybody else doesn't. my post on the 6th on the GOR? ON? OFF? WHEN? thread for which I was abused by Siva108 just said that i think that when the market crashes it will probably take the gold miners with it. even though that doesn't really make sense.

    my concerns are this:
    1. the miners aren't immune to the larger macro economic factors at play
    2. When credit markets freeze up this has to effect any company with debt
    3. When fear takes over people panic and they can throw the baby out with the bath water ie. They sell everything
    4. during a recession company's that don't produce a good dividend are looked upon less favorably because when everything is going down buying something simply in the hope that someone will come along later and offer you more money for it than you paid is less likely
    5. When covid19 gets into the mining camps I'm not sure how the company will deal with it and what the repercussions will be.

i am very bullish on gold and extremely bullish on the gold miners (This one and half a dozen others) but will wait until i see how the virus plays out before buying back in.
same goes for stocks like WPL that look like bargains but operate remote communities.

I'm not offering trading advise because I'm usually wrong but just saying what worries me
