but Davo can QCG do that given their 20% interest prior to today? Dont they have to announce a take over bid?

It would be really bad for VPE holders if they made that play now? We need another few months. + ODN would have to be the dumbest players on the market to sell their stake to QGC for the current market value? (Unless they had some cash side agreement? Is that even possible?)
