Hmmm. It does seem to be a terrible and scary time for investors at the moment.

One minute I was outraged at the scabby offer from this dodgy LNG9 crew.
Now after the impact of the Corona virus I am quite glad that the sp is still above 10c - presumable because of the TO offer helping to underpin the price.

I wake up each day worried there will be an announcement that the offer is off - but at least we are staggering on for now.

Nobody can tell if a better offer will emerge bur it certainly seems like the gas industries finances have been impacted severely by the glut and a failure of anticipated additional demand to eventuate. The use of gas as a transitional fuel to move to a cleaner greener world is not playing out as expected as additional coal fired power capacity is being rolled out.

This all suggests that a bigger stronger player like a Woodside would be required to move on the company if we are to get a better price. Who knows what our chances really are here.

All in all I echo sentiments by other posters that just getting the TO money would be a pretty good outcome..
