Provided you buy from respected sellers, and proven silver contents, eg Perth Mint stamped ingots or coins, Matthey etc, no problems for mine.

However, I wouldn't touch any of the sales from China etc. apart from the fact that postage prices are extreme, there is the doubt as to whether the silver is genuine. Others may help here. I do know that at least some of the Sterling Silver China produces does not have 92.5% silver content.

Also, I note that 99.99% silver has higher premiums than SS at the moment.
