    Let’s get back to FACTS….

The QTK network is being dismantled….so even if they were to re-list they will have NO network to operate!

A check of the Car forums also tells a factual picture:

“It looks like QuikTrack have gone bankrupt. There is a letter (see below) from the Administrators on their homepage ( http://www.quiktrak.com.au/ )

The big problem is that they have stopped monitoring vehicles. This means that any vehicle which have insurance cover based on a tracking system being fitted would no longer be insured. I am sure the insurance companies would be all over this, and of course would be able to refuse any future insurance claims based on the the fact that tracking device is not active (they will get out of paying any way they can )

” Ive heard they need to be removed... Call quik trak administrators and they can recommend a guy that comes out to disconnect the systems. its a bummer but hey they will drain the battery.

    “*&^%^&^% !!!
I just paid $400 2 weeks ago for 12 months monitoring.
    What a joke!

    ETA.
Rang Quiktrak and have been advised they are still monitoring untill further notice.
ATM it is in the hands of the aministrators & I should give them a call tomorrow...

    Read their homepage.

Lil qoute " As there are insufficient funds available to trade the business, the company today has ceased trading and monitoring services have been suspended "

So, those that have just installed or paid for monitoring and existing QTK clients, are now; UN-Insured and have not only lost that money to QTK, but now have to find another company to sign and pay with… so they remain insured….Hmmmmmmm?

And they seem to have to pay to have their current QTK system removed ….:.” its a bummer but hey they will drain the battery.”

Not exactly the best sales and marketing campaign to gain and keep customers….IMHO!

    Cheers
