I have said it before, and I will say it again - I find it disturbing and scary reading some posts about the safety of money in the Aussie Big4, putting $20k in several banks for safety, trying to equate the OBS and derivative exposure to the sh funds, etc., etc.
It is clear some folk have minimal knowledge of the financial markets, perish the thought they make their investment decisions on other stocks they understand so little about.
If you really believe that one of our Big4 is going (or be allowed) to fold taking depositors funds with them, then I respectively suggest you take ALL of your money out of every bank account right now and stick it under your mattress. Start hoarding food and supplies as well.
For if the RBA allows a Big4 to collapse that will be the least of your worries!
