I suppose that assumes the virus will be worse than the flu?
Lets take a look at Singapore, the most densely populated place on the planet and also the biggest international travel hub. So far, 178 infections, zero deaths and 96 have recovered. That does not look worse than the flu to me?
Conclusion: some places cop it worse than others. Reason: climate, age demographics, food habits.
Iran coped it bad because it is cold and rainy in the winter. They have a large elderly population and they all hug and kiss each other when they meet which makes the virus easy to transmit. They also have religious gatherings where they all eat food from the same pot that could be infected.
Itally, same thing. Cold and rainy. They all eat out and if the guy serving up the food is infected then they all get infected. The church could be infected and you have seen on TV how the priest feeds his flock with the same unwashed hand in direct contact with the food. So when the priests get infected, everyone gets infected.
