Once again IF that were to happen then we can only look at past big bears. the 1929 crash lasted 2.5 years. The 1937 crash saw 49% taken off the DOW and only took just under a year.
A period of just under 2 years seems fairly common so if that is the case then I guess mid 2009 or just past seeing though we started oct 2007
