The comments made by the original poster are in line with speculation made by others recently.
The cyclone did a considerable amount of damage as it passed through Karratha (verbal report from someone passing through town recently).
It would be bad luck having the liner trashed by the storm but perhaps the potential for cyclone damage should have been recognized? Of course we don’t know if liner damage is a problem.
