I kind of question your list of 'benefits'.
A2M already has the certification they need for China, is already assured of all the manufacturing capacity they need at this stage and SML has already built a new facility at Pokeno that is now in operation.
Taking over SML would not magically open up new growth potential as A2M is already guaranteed priority of supply and great margins. They have the blocking stake in SML they need to ensure security of supply without any unnecessary exposure to other risks borne by SML. I'm happy for them to keep it that way.
