As an alternative why not dispose of the whole political system and put a qualified non political committee together to run the country
Lets face it 95% of the politicians do not give a rat's ass of thought or concern for the people of the country.
Therefore to call them "our" representatives is far from the truth, so a qualified management team doing the best for Australia would serve us well with major items decided by a referendum on the net
Not to mention the fabulous amount of money the country would save to have all those snouts out of the pig trough
