You are right, we are all on the same side. This is affecting every aspect of society. A 13 year old girl close to me who is currently going through chemo after suffering a brain cancer, she is at the absolute mercy of this virus so we are all isolating ourselves. Her dad works in manufacturing and looking at the situation there is a probability that he'll lose his jobs. Many non-professional mates around me are losing jobs left right and center already, most notably artists who lose their gigs at pubs and other venues.
It is important for people to acknowledge the gravity of the situation, and that should include their investments. At the very least don't mindlessly up ramp at every opportunity like a broken record player like what the bear does.
I must admit I have a more pessimistic view to you, I don't think the bounce will be swift over the next few weeks. More economic data will become available, most notably unemployment rates, clearance rates and gdp. Goldman Sachs is now predicting -5% quarterly GDP for the US which is just nuts.
