1. Dr Giles encouraged other shareholders to take up the 10c rights issue shares but not at one stage did he advise the same shareholders of this intentions. He did not take up one share! He would have been getting regular reports on the rights issue take up so could take up some of the shares and avoid moving through the 20% threshold.
2. Directors can take up their rights but not the shortfall shares.
3. Why did take 4 months for Dr Giles to advise the ASX.
There were many Posters on Hotcopper that thought he was going to take up rights issue shares.
Unfortunately, Havilah shareholders allow Dr Giles to do these things and make excuses for him. That is one of the reasons the Company has been such a disappointment.
