How on earth, or in God and Jesus's names, did you lose sight of the fact, that the misuse of Lord here is in fact referring to the Almighty God and Father, Yahweh and NOT Jesus.


Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Therefore GOD, thy God -> This first mention of God is NOT referring to Jesus and "the God" is clarified, "thy God".

Therefore God, thy = (Jesus's God) God hath anointed him..........


Because Jesus loved righteousness,...... God, =--> His God anointed him.
