Valiant effort going on here to help each other out. It's what we are going to need in the next few months.

I'm happy to be out, and can watch what is happening before making a decision.

For those thinking this is short term, why? Are you sure that information is current or from a reputable source?

For those thinking this only kills a few people, how many deaths do you think are acceptable? Should we as a society do as much as we can to save lives right now? No?

For those that thinking Afterpay's merchants will be fine, perhaps, but only if their costs are frozen during the period of time their income is frozen. What happens if leases need to get paid still? How long can you stay afloat in your own life without income?

For those thinking that Afterpay's customers will be fine, well some have already lost their jobs with industries that may be shut down for a very long time (longer than the period of time you have in your head). Others are going to lose their jobs. Even professional workers in offices may lose jobs, as companies severely cut back growth projects and focus on keeping their employees safe and their business afloat.

For those thinking other countries are going back to normal, no country is normal, people may be at work in China, but are they going to restaurants? Are they going to weddings? Sports games? China became the factory of the world, but who are they making stuff for now? Soccer shirts for all the fans?

And for anyone calling it a flu - a flu is caused by the influenza virus. We'd be better equiiped to deal with a flu pandemic

This is caused by a coronavirus, and 0% of the population has immunity to it.
