My main point is the symptoms are SO MILD that we aren't actually diagnosing them, if you get the flu you know it!
The death-rate NOW is only a function of not being able to pick up the cases that are mild.

If 1 billion people get this and it stops it's likely not because it just stopped spreading, it's likely because we missed about another 5 billion cases that we didn't even notice.

I've had both as a healthy male and both hurt, you aren't just ignoring it, COVID-19 would likely be so mild in me being a middle aged healthy male I wouldn't even notice it, even if I did, it would probably be assumed by the current screening routines that I did not meet the criteria for testing, I would likely never be tested for it, I don't think I've been in contact anyone who has it but that's the problem right there.
What if I was? How do we pick these cases up?
These are the questions the CDC and WHO are trying to answer right now, the rest is a sideshow and we risk the sideshow taking away the resources of the CDC and WHO to actually respond to this, medical supplies being hoarded by idiots who don't even know how to use them.

Nobody knows how bad the spread is if we aren't getting those milder cases diagnosed, we fail to track the real spread of the virus, our screening is currently deficient, our testing kits limited and therefor our response can't be focused where it needs to be as we are lacking the information we need to formulate a more effective response.

I'm safe, my family is safe, to me this is nothing more than an inconvenience, so my portfolio went down 40% in a few weeks, that's a shame, sell all the fear and panic you want, it's likely in the end I'll come out of it wealthier than I went in, a large portion of society wont recover from this financially and we become the America that voted in Donald Trump, anyone who thinks Scomo is bad, imagine Boris or Trump!

Ps: I saw 3 older gentlemen walking down the street separately with masks on, they gathered together to talk and all took their masks off, leaned into each-other and had a conversation, that's how vital supplies are being used LOL.
I shudder to think how many masks and rolls of toilet paper they had at home, they ARE the risk category and did not actually follow ANY medical advice, just bullshit they saw in media snippets.
