Well it only helped the Jews.

- Iraq was the only immediate threat to Israel in the region.
- Israel didn't have to lose hundreds of soldiers to eliminate this threat (unlike the US).
- Israel didn't have to fork out hundreds of billions (unlike the US).
- Israel is still the only nation in the ME (besides maybe Iran, their turn will come) who has nukes.

The US nation as a whole must feel like a bunch of tossers for giving up so much to gain so little all for Israels sake.
