As for y'r gas quesiton, read on.

At that depth say over 1700m+ depending on the host rock (say Sand stringers or interebedded sand/siltstn) & maturity of hte organic matter, u could b looking at varying combination of C1-C5 (if the tempertaure in the kitchen was just right enough to take it to oil stage).

If the rock type is carbonaceous then high C1 & a bit of C2's, in short coal gas. Note that Purni formation is predominantly Carb Siltstone.

Irrespective of the combination, raw gas will b piped to Moomba after CTP build a 600km hub of their own & then at Moomba this could b separated in each separate component C1, C2, C3 etc & then mkt'd to the user by say BOC etc.
