My mum was getting access via the SAS all along, so it is the same pricing structure as set out in your post.

We enquired about the lengthy delay yesterday. Mum had to get another blood test (she already had one earlier) and then it would be submitted for the final look over. The blood test was to check her blood count and any possible clotting abnormalities (since iPPS is a mild blood thinner).

Out of 500 applicants, at this clinic, only two were knocked back as not being viable. Mum has had the MRI, etc..., so she is close. The doctor has also recommended her as a "good candidate" for the treatment.

We were told it'll be 1-2 weeks for the drug to get to the clinic. It is in "the warehouse," whatever that means?
