I used to be a paperboy in the 70's with my older brother (in the CBD).
We looked forward to Fridays (late shopping till 9.00pm in those days) because after work, we would then visit Myers to by a steak and onion pie.
I remember people would say 'when you visit Melbourne, you must visit Myers'. It was truly the greatest store to visit.
Fifty years later, looks like I will be owning my small piece of this Melbourne icon.
