2-3% mortality from a regular flu? Can you supply a source?
Generally around 0.1% to 0.15% is the numbers I have seen when you exclude previous pandemics.
COVID 19 is approximately 1% with some people taking sensible precautions. Possibly 3% or more when running rampant. So the current estimates is this around 10x more deadly that a seasonal flu.
For sure, like Panda was suggesting, we may have a final tally that is lower due to non-symptomatic (or minimally) cases not being counted but you seem to be overstating the risk of seasonal flu by a large margin.
