So you are suggesting that the share which was $34 on 28th of February to now has dropped because of something else. I am not blaming the virus for the drop I am blaming the impact of the situation- we don't have any idea how any business will fare. We do know that distressed loans are dependent on people having jobs and the ability to repay and that situation got very bad very quickly. Distressed debt isn't that easy to collect in good times its even harder in bad times. The reality is that right now everyone in this country and the USA got to be a much poorer risk. What you are implying is that there is some other underlying reason but you cannot point to one reference for that.

You won't clarify why you post only negative items on 3 pages of posts, you won't explain what is the basis of your opinion or provide any research and then you tell me my research is lazy. Why don't you lead us to how you come to your conclusion?

So what is your research, answer some of my questions. Fact - Collections house was put into a trading halt on 14th February - what has that got to do with CCP? What is the comparison - other than they swim in the same pond?

The market has spoken on every share. Its a throwaway line isn't it. Where is your research? I suppose it's the market has spoken? The one month drop for QAN (before the government gave the lifeline to QAN) was virtually the same as CCP. The reality is a competitor is obviously in distress that makes all shares in that category a little less secure. The Covid 19 impact on business activity is likely to substantially reduce collections for the duration. that could kill the weak and could even kill the strong if it goes on for too long.

So if we cannot blame this on the virus why are we all locked up and the government is handing out bailouts and money, 6-month moratoriums of repayments etc.

My research is based upon the profitability, the statements of the company including the one about cash holdings, the past 10 plus years that I have owned the stock. It survived the GFC, it survived the short report attack. It's improved its ratios over time and provides a better and cheaper product via Wallet wizard than the alternatives.
