Sorry winsol but have to strongly disagree. The Italians thought the same as you and look where they are at. Spain had 5000 new cases in one day. The 1% death rate is if the 20% of severe cases get access to a ventilator, which WA only has 200 - do the maths. Forget economics, thousands will die because we can only treat 200 at a time and 20% of cases will need treatment. The action so far has not been nearly quick enough nor have we even gone far enough yet. Stay safe and hope the politicians listen to the infectious disease experts rather than economists.
