ReadCloud is an Australian software company who has developed a unique eReading/eBook platform that delivers digital curriculum to over 350 school customers across Australia.
At the end of January 2020 ReadCloud was in over 350 schools (up 75% from January 2019) and had over 103,000 users on its platform (up 72% from January 2019), with user numbers set to increase in the coming weeks with further new schools and new enrolments in VET courses
The Platform is unique in a way that students can interact with other students and teachers online whilst learning.
(Teachers and students are organised into virtual classrooms (known as ‘clouds’ in ReadCloud) and the appropriate content is provisioned into these clouds.)
ReadCloud has distribution agreements for digital content with over 25 of the WORLDS LEADING publishers such as Oxford University Press, Jacaranda, Macmillan, Penguin Random House, Hachette and Harper Collins and in partnership with its many resellers can deliver the Australian school curriculum in digital form in all states on one platform
ReadCloud also provides VET in Schools services through its subsidiary Australian Institute of Education and Training (AIET) who offers 37 VET courses and Auspicing services to over 140 schools across Australia
Now if we look at the financials we will see very strong growth within the Company even prior to the COVID 19 inevitable school closures with Zero debt.
Year-to-date unaudited revenue to the end of February 2020 $5.51 million is up 83% compared to $3.01 million for the same period in FY19 reflecting strong sales for the 2020 school year with expectations of a Dramatic increase of sales due to COVID19
