Voltaire, is there any particular piece of literature that you have found to be particularly adept at explaining the background and implementation of E.W theory?

Aside, I was looking at those Fib retracement levels, and the major indexes have never seemed to track them accurately enough. If you actually use Fib fans to chart the movements, you get a closer lock on the price movements (at least that has been the case in the past). The following is an example of using the Fib fans to chart the XJO (monthly). Note the 38.2% fan from the run from Feb95 to Jul01 forms the long term trend (highlighted in blue where relevant).

Has anyone else noticed the difference in accuracy?
