If global growth is -10% or thereabouts in the second quarter, and probably the rest of the year, China has two major problems. It's markets are drying up and it still have a huge number of displaced unemployed. If they are honest and don't fiddle the books (I'm joking of course) China could have it's first offical quarterly GDP under 3%. More likely and realistically it's the other side of 0%
No one will get an advantage out of this. In the end the cost of this pandemic will be incalculable and China too is to pay a heavy price.
