Your points about construction at Kwinana are valid. IIRC Capex will end up about 2.5 to 3x what would be expected if a similar project was constructed in China and there is a lot more environmental red tape to deal with in Aus.
In hindsight it would have been better for them to build the facility elsewhere, however that would have been a shame for the future of the Australian lithium industry.

hi Sjlasx... I thought SQM was the undercutting flooder of the market ?
And that was despite a 2018 report from it saying it was NOT going to do a flood ? ( you seem to be a Lithium Brittanica SJ and I am sure is SQM did say that you would remember it ? )
(....Or Chilinica?)

Anyway if it was SQM that did it then it was 25% Tianqi?
