Don't know which country you're from mate but here in Australia school leavers not only have their entire tuition load funded by the government, but they will actually get paid a living allowance on top of that as well. It's incredibly easy for the school leaver to fund their uni education. That should be apparent when the biggest concern for students seem to be whether they have to move in with their parents to save on rent.
Contrast this with the US for example where loans to students are made on commercial terms and they generally don't cover the entire tuition fee amount over 4 years. And there's no youth allowance there.
Our uni students think they've got it tough but they're actually pretty lucky
