I understand how your son feels. Feeling the same though sold out on the lows. Everyday I tell myself the bottom is in and probably do some bad trades sometimes as I can't time these small bounces properly.
Of course nobody can time the bottom. But what signs would you need to look for apart from cases getting less and the economic fall out flattening out which could take months.
