On a serious note, I wouldn't mind seeing other directors buy e.g. would love for Richard Treagus put some "hurt money" in around these levels - you may recall the company sold shares on his behalf around $3 to fund a non recourse loan he had to purchase shares cheaper - just before ACADIA deal was announced and share price crashed. Yes these are unprecedented times and many will be doing it tough ATM - however I expect the NEU management and directors remain employed on same commercials and aren't facing hardship others in the community will be. I would change my sentiment in this regard if they're planning to drop wages during the coming "wait for results" (as opposed to developing NNZ-2591) period.
