the proprietary trading system ,the one holding a great chunk of afg,thats what controls the sp. it only runs up to attract attention,ppl dont delude yourself shorters helped screw this company along with most of the accessible stocks,along with rumour and conjecture.

the company had done a fine job and were unwinding the old business model prior to 2008,with so many other companys down
macq down 70% from its highs,i am so sceptical now if they havent dropped i believe they will,gerry harvey ,incitec,ppt,
its a long long list.

afg is as good a company at reparation as any and its big advantage is it has a head start,rapidly unwinding the damage,
long term, wether it survives is another matter,but they deserve triple aaa rating for effort.

i sold my holding awhile ago,wish i had maintained my belief,and continued trading for position
