I am going to rant so I apologise in advance...

I am just finding the whole market very depressing at the the moment.. I don't mind constructive statements which present some sort of logical argument but there are a lot of very negative posters making really wild claims...

You can't help but read them because as soon as you go to a particular stock forum some dreadful title jumps out at you.....I have seen

"mayday, mayday, mayday"
"this will never recover"
"going to 1c"
"what is wrong with this S**T"

The list is extensive.....

It really should be dealt with...There are a lot of people who are down thousands of dollars and they don't need this sort of scaremongering.....adding to their stress levels....These are the worst market conditions that many have ever seen..and I think part of the problem is the Internet....

It makes it too accessible to see every price fluctuation to the common public...and allows predators hoping to pick up cheap shares to fuel the fire with lies and rumours...

I wonder how long it will be before someone does something harmful to either themselves or someone else. At some point Internet forums will be have to be made accountable for the information or disinformation that is published on their sites...

There is also blatant price manipulation going on as well...

A friend of mine is on the board of a company listed on the ASX. They saw the SP go from 95 to 72 because of trades going through with volumes of 1 share....

The whole thing needs to be regulated properly to get rid of these cowboys..
