    You said it all re gold being only worth a third of it's 1980 inflation adjusted figure. Gold bugs have been saying it'll take off for years but it hasn't happened. If this current crisis doesn't fire it up, nothing will. let's just pray the POG doesn't do the contrary thing and fall like a stone.....gulp!
