When the price of gold dropped below US$1200 (estimate) in 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019, you can see a slight drop in revenue & hence a minor dip in earnings. However when we see gold above $1500, the earnings become huge as the charts show in the last earnings report. Surely you can see cash & earnings going up at the end of 2019 & not down since 2017, as you falsely claim. Now, if people believe that a rise in gold prices over the next 12 months (& years to come) will improve earnings for NST, then investing in the company is a great strategy. NST shares fell down to under $9 in November last year as people believed the negativity. However gold climbed from US$1200 up to US$1500 during this time. As a result, NST as a business benefit. This has not even taken into consideration the drop in AU$. Im sure you also know that businesses need to invest some profits to push for faster growth. Even during times when gold was seen as a weak investment option, NST revenue continued to grow, albeit slowly. Current gold prices are the highest they've ever been, which indicates NST should have their best profits yet. We will see in the next earnings report whether the recent improvements was a fluke, or if there is going to be sustained growth in earnings. I'm not here to change your mind. I honestly don't care. Im just tired of logging in to see another story of the sky falling.
