Whilst you are getting excited mate... Worth remembering their planes are now almost empty, and this is getting worse and worse by the day! They are about to ground many more aircraft. For those working at Qantas the situation is actually getting worse by the day. That’s the reality of what’s actually going on. The balance sheets are gonna get uglier and uglier.
The funding whilst it sounds great, has just added more debt against planes that arent generating income.
People are looking for any hint of news to try and pick the bottom of this down turn, hence the excitement yesterday, but I’d be very surprised if the worst isn’t still ahead for airlines...
