My take on the webcast:
- They were shocked by the placebo results and cannot explain them
- they hoped for better and clear cut results
- some subgroups responded better - eg fast growing tumours
- they have 100s of pages of data to analyse, and hopeful of seeing correlations not yet noted
- all current trials are already funded
- they have many more irons in the fire
- they did not expect the shareholder response
- shareholders ‘judged a book by its cover’
