Wall Street bonuses to drop 40 per cent or more this year

Johnson Associates is forecasting a drop of 30 per cent to 40 per cent "or more" for incentive compensation this calendar year.
In a report on 2020 compensation challenges and opportunities, the New York consultancy also sees the potential "implosion" of several well-known alternative firms, as well as a slowdown in private equity and venture capital.
Johnson Associates said it sees continuing uncertainty in the financial sector, hardly breaking news given the sell-off in global markets and forecasts for a global recession, and a US second-quarter contraction
