CRAZY DAY AT THE OFFICE....

Bahhh...I work from home on occasion, today was a day I found myself at home...ready for another productive day, I started at 6:45am...I knew from yesterday's invite through the mail system that I had another of these Corona updates at work at 9am, I would be teleconferencing in with about 25 others, maybe a few more......but I did have a sneaking suspicion this was a little different...well I wasn't wrong, I was stood down! No I didn't take it personally...it was me and another x thousand employees...we have our jobs but no pay till mid April at this stage...our number was up....Im not sad, in fact quite the opposite...it's finally for our safety...working in the office doesn't make sense any more and becomes more risky. Luckily I have some leave I can burn up...I do feel for some of the younger guys though...some will have to make the dreaded call to the Centrelink or worse still queue up...there were a couple that were crying...not good.

After that call I'm fielding questions, ex workers are ringing me up to ask me if the news was true...I'm talking to colleagues and eventually I just happen to turn around and I look out at the back yard and what do I see for the very first time in my entire life....a FOX in my back yard!? I had to double take....he yawned (clearly he didn't see me) razor sharp teeth, after a quick google search I luckily find out there aren't many human attacks on the part of foxes...i think he eventually jumped the fence...No No Absentfriend, I don't live in the sticks...I'm almost Inner city!!

Yes it's been a crazy day...no I'm not upset...I know we will get through this eventually...I know the numbers will jump (especially in the US, Sorry Edski1 and any others)...but it will get better as we progressively lock up and isolate. We have some more pain to go through before the sun shines...

Ok why am I posting this story here? Well I was wondering If I would have to have my lunch break tomorrow around the time of Paul speaking tomorrow...it's now no longer an issue, I'm jobless for around a month, maybe a bit more so I can no doubt attend live...not really expecting to hear much new stuff...but let's see.
