You say "my head hurts trying to gather as to how we can dip in price on positive news...."
If you have a pet Broker or know someone in the share trading game - they will tell you it is very, very, difficult to make money trading in the current market.
A small number of traders saw the opportunity to buy cheap last week and sell today on a much higher market. To make money they have to SELL and clear their trade. Traders work on the adage Buy the rumor- sell the fact. Most made a 10 cent/share killing on a 20c/share investment (50% in a week) JUST TOO GOOD FOR A TRADER TO MISS!
I myself took advantage of the nervous market last week and bought a swag of UCM at 18c - the difference is I kept mine. I promise you I will be laughing all the way to the bank long term. That investment will make me much more than 50%, but I will hold it for longer and it will compound in value - of this I am certain because I know the product and its value and I have done this sort of thing on many previous occasions. I am NOT a trader - I make my money by investing sound well run companies and have held shares in UCM since 2004. This is how I have paid for my holding. I did try Trading and found it very hard work.
To survive financially and mentally as a share investor you need to understand, that in a market like the current one, there is little correlation between PRICE and VALUE - you are of a mindset that is trying to straddle both worlds - not a comfortable place to be is it!
You also have to understand (as @Bill Gates has pointed out many times) that there are also a bunch of Bad Boys and Bad Bots out there who work hard every day to separate the "Nervous Nellies" from their money. You can see them working at market close every night.
My advice is that if you have purchased UCM shares and if you can afford to hold them - don't sell them at any price until you truly understand the value of what you have stumbled upon - and only then decide if you want to HOLD or FOLD.
