I'm a goldbug with a substantial bullion and mining position but mostly I am hiding in cash.
The way I see it is that it would be wise to hedge your bets when it comes to a "gold will rally as fiat fizzles position".
Does anyone else here share my concern that collusion amongst central banks will see a new currency? And maybe co-ordinated nationalisation of banks worldwide? Sounds scary but China jumped into the game with the recent co-ordinated interest rate drop and to some extent banks are already nationalised as they buy up bank debt.
I am not a banker/trader/financier or whatever but a reasonably informed retiree so hopefully the question is not as naive as it is scary!
