It would be good to get an update after the rampy announcement on 4/3. But I have my doubts.
NOR has a history of releasing ambitious announcements but rarely, if ever, gives an update to the market with bad news/missed targets (guidance)/expired deals or agreements.
Look at Thomas Cook as a prime example. The perma bears here could see nothing was happening with Thomas Cook and indeed, we saw TC go with another provider, before falling over themselves. Meanwhile, crickets from NOR.
Same as RAC.
Do I need to go through them all?
The key bit in 4/3 rampy announcement was "may exceed $50k-100k per week". How can you exceed a range? If it may exceed $100k, then it is a given it exceeds $50k. Just a BS target.
As at the time of posting, there are still under 1000 downloads in Google Play.
I do not believe, as one poster suggested, downloads are happening via Spark directly. I posted evidence to support my claims and the other poster has gone silent and has not offered up evidence to support his claims.
Further, any suggestions NOR are unable to update the market as Spark are all hands on deck or some such due to Covid-19, is misguided. Why? Downloads are via NOR in the App stores, not Spark. NOR would know exactly how many downloads there are and the revenues received. It is funny to on one hand suggest NOR is high tech company operating 24/7 and yet, has no visibility on how its tech is used.
When WP was a 'thing' back in late 2015/early 2016, NOR was releasing Anns every week or 2, breathlessly talking up downloads. The SP was pumped too. That was until the marketing budget was exhausted and NOR could no longer give away free minutes to attract new customers. After which, the downloads slowed to a trickle, as did the Anns.
Granted this is a historical view. But the behaviour of NOR is always predictable.
All imo.
PS. I am all eyes if anyone has a contrarian argument to any of the above. Let's see who plays the man and who, if anyone, plays the ball.
