    Read article below dated 27 March 2020 about steel consumption;
    https://in.finance.yahoo.com/news/covid-19-domestic-steel-consumption-195727526.html

    Steel consumption all over the world is dropping due to widespread lock down. China alone can't do much when the forward orders are dropping.
    so, soon or later it will affect demand for iron ore significantly.

    More so, China never tells the true story during and after the corona virus event and would never tell. However, based on the number of deaths in Italy, Spain and US etc ( western democracies) where population is not so dense the deaths toll in China would be larger than the Chinese medis announced.

    Think a bit deeper, Australian government stimulus isn't enough given the underlying COVID-19 circumstances. Rise in unemployment would adversely affect property market in months to come and would bring down the asset price that would take years to recover.

    So, the economic down turn as the result of COVID-19 is jut the beginning !
