The US is fast tracking 6g and hypersonic technology development for a reason ie 'it can b used'.The US has just tested its first hypersonic missile,combine that with 6g quantum computing,quantum machine learning,AI etc and imo its clearly the future,both for economic and military reasons..
Both china and the US would not want to go down the nuclear option.
