Total eradication without a vaccine is unlikely
A vaccine if possible is more than 12 months away
Lock downs slow the spread
Relaxation will result in outbreaks
For how long can society endure lock downs
For how long can the government bankroll the economy

Unless technology comes to the rescue with a vaccine

At some point the bindings holding down the beast will fray
And herd immunity will be the only way

I hope the government is buying many ventilators ready for that day
